Pros: Whimsical design, comfortable lounging
Cons: A bit messy like all scratchers, wish it was two inches wider

ProperPet.com Staff Review: Libby is a 6 year-old female cat with all her claws, she's the white cat in some of the pictures of the Gator. I started out a couple years ago with a standard, flat cardboard scratcher which she loved, but when we decided to bring on the Imperial Cat scratchers, I knew I'd have to get her some nicer models. She spent about 20 minutes with the Gator immediately trying new angles for scratching and rolling around on it. Throughout the rest of the day she slept on it, and scratched it several more times. Like all cardboard scratchers, it can be a bit of a mess, though the mess is quite easy to clean up. Also it is narrow enough that she can easily sprawl off of it, but I knew it was narrower than her previous scratcher going into this. A big thumbs up on this one.
