The Contech Scarecrow is a simple and effective way to protect your gardens, ponds and pools from hungry or destructive animals. The animals activate a sprinkler by moving into a motion detection zone. The sudden noise and movement of the sprinkler and spray of water frighten the animal without permanent harm and teach it to keep out of the protected area. Since the detection is based on movement, the Scarecrow is difficult for animals to anticipate, making it more difficult for them to get used to the deterrent.

Features
The Scarecrow only needs a 9V battery and an active garden hose attched. The detection range and sprinkler coverage can be adjusted easily to customize the protection. In addition, since Contech made the Scarecrow to only need a battery and a hose, it is easy to move Scarecrow to another location if the animals do adapt to it's coverage area. This makes the Scarecrow a better and more flexible solution than poisons, chemicals or garden fences or barricades.
